I really do. I love the scent, I love the feeling of wellness it evokes, and of course I do love purple.
I am certainly no gardener but I am thrilled with the driveway of lavender I have going right now, which I planted last year. Lets face it, it takes a lot to do harm to lavender right? Even my non-green thumb isn't going to kill that off. I have a dirty big agapantha right in the middle though which I need muscles to help take out for me. It must go!
So this is a pic of some of the lavender in my driveway, again created with Sharon and Megan goodness from twolittlepixels ...

I love it, too and I have killed more plants than I care to remember. I can't keep it alive!
I with Bells, I'm a killer of lavendar. Argh! The sadness! I love to smell lavendar and to gently drag my hand along the stems to pick up the scent on my hands. I, on the other hand, am capable of growing outrageously large rosemary. It took over the driveway and attacked the children as they got out of the car. I vanquished it, but I have to figure out where in our small yard I can place it where we will all be happy.
The layout is so gorgeous! WOW! :)
I just LOVE that layout, Carol. It's just perfect! And I love the smell of lavendar, too!
