What can make you feel more happy and warm and fuzzy inside than seeing a new born calf? I ask you. Not much can top that.
Driving along to work today I spotted a few people in the paddock ahead, and as I neared it and had a bit of a sticky beak as I passed, I saw a cow leaning down licking a tiny baby calf, all brand new.
Must admit, I got all gooey seeing that scene. Nature at it's absolute finest.
Nothing much else to say. Just still happy and smiling thinking about that beautiful sight.

Hey Carol, it's Calico! I just wanted to let you know that I do know and LOVE the story of the rainbow bridge. Thank you for asking, though :) As a matter of fact, you reminded me that I wanted to put that in Candy's book. I'm going to have to see if I can add a page because there's also a dog prayer and a tuft of Candy's fur and her tag that I wanted to add.
What a wonderful sight to see on your way to work! It sounds like you live in a beautiful area. How's Bo recovering?
Oh I love that! It's just a marvellous thing to see. Once, in rural victoria, i was lucky enough to pass a cow just as she was giving birth. Literally saw the calf fall out!
