It's beginning to look a lot like December ...

And I'm about to say, where's it going?  Almost a week in, I have some serious card sending and present wrapping to do.   Mike was on his way out the door tonight to a meeting and I said, "hey, we were going to write out Christmas cards tonight" and he turned and looked at me (and I swear he smirked) and said "oh what a shame".  Yeah right.

So I'm loving all the Christmas goodies popping up at Designer Digitals, and I'm adoring the gallery now that we're back on line.  Oh thank the internet Telstra Gods, we're back !!!!!!!!!!!!    So I have thrown caution to the wind and decided to join in the December Daily project.  I have done a Christmas book a couple of years ago but it was more so as to how we spend our Christmasses and our traditions.   And I've always thought that well it's just the two of us here and we don't really seem to do all the huge Christmassy extravaganza type things that they do overseas, so what on earth would I put on my pages.

And then I thought well when it's all said and done it's a December Daily.  Not everyone does a Christmassy thing every day.  This is just a small Project 365 version of our life in
a month that happens to be December, so that's how I'm approaching it.

So welcome to my 1st December double page.  Nice simple grid pattern, full of memories.  Lets hope I keep it up.

Credits Designer Digitals.

Before I go I wanted to share yet one more photo of the Color Run with you.  Whilst I was offline I got an email from the Marathon Photo people who were at the Color Run taking random photos, and there was a set of 7 or so photos that I was in.  I threw caution to the wind, laid down my money and bought the lot.  A bit delirious perhaps, I guess I was still thinking ... me?  a fun run?

I love this photo, I was running without a care in the world and I think it's the face of me being TRULY HAPPY.

I'm still smiling when I look at that photo.  :-)

I agree, where has the year gone? Where has this week gone?

I have to write the Christmas cards after I get home next week! It's not the best time of year to be away from home caring for mum through and after cataract surgery but we must do what we must do!

Great photo!
